Our People

Academics and practitioners united by community-led environmental action.

Founding Team

The founders

PlanetCare was founded by three Ghanaian academics and practitioners who recognised that their complementary expertise in water quality and environmental auditing, clean and renewable energy technologies, and social ecology could have a greater impact when brought together under a dedicated organisation. United by a shared commitment to sustainable development, they established PlanetCare to address some of the most pressing environmental and socio-economic challenges facing rural and underserved communities in Ghana, including unsafe drinking water, inadequate sanitation, environmental degradation, and increasing vulnerability to climate change.
