PlanetCare is led by people whose careers span universities, utilities and community development, united by a shared belief that communities should be at the centre of environmental action.
The founders
- Dr. Kenneth Bedu-Addo, an environmental scientist specialising in environmental management, auditing and water quality assessment.
- Dr. Augustine Ntiamoah, a chemical engineer at KNUST working on clean energy technologies and climate change mitigation.
- Dr. Henry Mensah, a social ecologist and Senior Research Fellow at KNUST focused on human behaviour, environmental management and sustainable development.
The Board
- Mrs. Serena Kwakye-Mintah, former CEO of G-Water Bottling, bringing deep knowledge of national water-sector operations.
- Prof. Ulrike Gayh, Professor of Environmental and Process Engineering at SRH University, with expertise in water technologies.
- Dr. Eric Kwame Simpeh, a KNUST Senior Research Fellow in sustainable and green construction.
- Ms. Dorothy Julian Nalumu, a researcher and practitioner in nature-based solutions and participatory urban development.
