We are delighted to introduce PlanetCare Community Initiative Ghana LBG, a newly registered non-profit, non-partisan organisation dedicated to helping communities across Ghana protect and restore their environment.
PlanetCare was founded by Ghanaian and international academics and practitioners in environmental science, chemical engineering and social ecology, who share a commitment to community-led environmental action.
What we stand for
Our vision is a Ghana of resilient communities where residents and the environment flourish, with access to potable water, proper sanitation and clean energy, driven by community action, collective responsibility and sustainable living. Our mission is to empower underserved rural communities to safeguard their environments through education, sustainable practices and collective action.
